Singing lessons for Perth's kids and teens
Students often come to Perth Singing Academy suffering the effects of bullying, difficult home lives & other social issues. Our singing lesson program assists firstly by providing a 'place to be' & secondly by assisting children to create something to be proud of. Some of Perth Singing Academy's students are on the autism spectrum, & feedback has highlighted that their social interactions have improved through gaining the confidence to be their authentic self. The atmosphere of each class is supportive & creative, where children & parents are transported into a world of show-business and delight!
Children
Children at the Perth Singing Academy develop social and educational skills while singing their favourite songs! In the 20+ years we have been teaching, parents have noted an increase in their child’s concentration, confidence, reading abilities and diction. The Academy’s students learn the importance of sympathy, patience, respect, sharing, cooperation and fairness.
Teens
At the Perth Singing Academy, we encourage our students to be individuals. We believe that by expressing their personality, they will build self esteem and resilience to help them become leaders in the world. Young adults at the Academy pursue their dreams of singing, with many opportunities to perform live, while building their abilities to express themselves and nurture their talents to aid them in life.

Performance (6 years +)
The Perth Singing Academy provides opportunities for students to perform all over Perth in many different environments! Students have the ability to perform at community-run, family friendly events, planned functions, talent shows, and glamorous concerts run by the Perth Singing Academy at the end of each term!

About Us
Perth Singing Academy has been running for over 20 years under the guidance of founder, director and head-teacher Anthea Allen. The Academy showcases students from the wider community of all experience levels and backgrounds. We emphasise equality in our classes by providing a safe space for self-expression and creativity. Perth Singing Academy works with the community and is involved in many community projects and events!
Kids (6 to 12 years old)
Singing lessons and music in general ignites all areas of a child's development including intellectual, social, emotional, motor, language and overall literacy. Singing lessons and music helps the body and mind to work together. Our singing workshops encourage your child to gain confidence and self esteem by overcoming fear and gaining resilience through performance.
Teens (13 to 16 years old)
Many teens face issues that may lead to dysfunction and depression, such as body image, bullying, harassment or humiliation and social media abuse. We at the Perth Singing Academy are very passionate in teaching that singing, music and dance boost self-confidence and self-esteem, through both performance and building an enduring love of music.
Young Adults (17 to 21 years old)
Being a young adult normally means you are either studying and/or you are working. Our vocal & stage singing workshops enable you to part of a wonderful, exciting musical environment and meet people like you who love singing and music. Our amazing team of singing teachers will work with you individually to strengthen your vocal & stage skills. Life skills gained through singing and performance will often be life changing!
Adults (22 years and up)
Singing workshops and lessons provide an opportunity to escape from routine and unleash your creativity through singing! It's never too late to start with singing lessons and to enjoy your love of song. Plus, you have a chance to socialise with like minded people, all while cultivating a new skill! Our amazing team of singing teachers will work with you individually to strengthen your vocal & stage skills. Life skills gained through singing and performance may be life changing!
Performance (8 years +)
At the Perth Singing Academy Of Performing Arts we help singers overcome fears and discover their strengths though the art of vocal and live stage performance. The talented members of Perth Singing Academy often go much further than the studio. We give all singing students regular opportunities for live stage performances and support for auditions. This focus on support demonstrates to all singers that being part of the team is important, and that being a star takes many forms. The experience of singing and performance is electrifying!

Classes are open to everyone 6 years old and over, so don't hold back. You're never too young, or old!. Our Singing lessons are held in Perth's northern suburbs each Saturday morning (various classes and levels). Trial lessons are free, but bookings are essential. Bring a water bottle.
Singing Lesson Fees
Your trial lesson is free! 10 weeks of lessons (6 year olds to adults) are only $480.00 +GST (with a 8-week payment plan).
